‘Hummingbird Suncatcher’ Workshop

$70.00 $160.00

Hummingbirds are often seen as symbols of joy, resilience and hope. Their remarkable ability to hover, change direction, and travel great distances despite their small size reminds us of strength, adaptability, and the importance of finding sweetness in everyday life.

In this brand new workshop with Alana, students will create a beautiful hummingbird suncatcher using wire, beads, and decorative accents in this hands-on creative workshop.

Guided step-by-step by Alana, you’ll learn wire-shaping and wrapping techniques to form an elegant hummingbird shape which can then be embellished with wire, beads and crystals however you wish.
Many of these techniques can also be transferred to jewellery making for those wanting to expand on their jewellery making skills.

You will leave with a unique, handmade piece to brighten your home, garden, or window space and the enthusiasm to create even more!

Please note: if you do not wish to make a suncatcher you could make a large pendant instead.
