‘Capturing Memories in Watercolour’ Workshop

Perhaps it’s the soft blue of the ocean, windswept coastal trees, seabirds wandering the shoreline, fish and chips on a park bench, shells gathered in a pocket, or a favourite walk visited year after year.
In this brand new, full-day workshop with Clare, you will paint a collection of meaningful watercolour memories inspired by treasured holidays, seaside adventures and favourite places, creating one special artwork to take home.
Choose three nature-inspired snapshots that hold special meaning for you and transform them into a unique artwork that tells your story.
We will begin the day exploring a range of expressive watercolour techniques through guided exercises inspired by natural elements such as shells, rocks, skies, trees and ocean textures. We will then work with your own photographs or collected treasures to plan a thoughtful composition and select three meaningful nature snapshots to include in your artwork.
Throughout the afternoon, you’ll gradually build your piece using a variety watercolour techniques, learning how to capture atmosphere, texture and the feeling. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a unique finished artwork inspired by treasured holidays, day trips or special places.
