Come and spend the day with Siobhan and learn the skills and build confidence to take that first step in starting your journey into polymer clay cane building.

In this workshop, Siobhan will go right back to basics where you will firstly learn how to make a jelly roll cane, a stripe cane, a skinner blend and an Asterix (*) cane.
In the second part of this workshop we will then piece these components together with our background clay to create the start of a kaleidoscope cane and watch how our kaleidoscope cane evolves as we reduce it, divide it up and reduce it again. We will take before and after pics of the cane process for comparison and to assist in understanding how clay behaves, learn techniques in reduction methods, how to avoid distortion of our clay pictures and many other tips and tricks that Siobhan has learnt from years of trial and error.
