Join Rene and settle in for a gentle graphic arts workshop where we’ll experiment with turning simple, stone-like shapes into striking artworks. Using black pigment pens and smooth art paper, you’ll learn how to build up shading to suggest depth and weight, and how repeating similar forms across the page creates a strong visual rhythm.

We’ll start with loose, organic outlines, then layer tones and patterns to make each shape feel like it’s sitting above or beneath another. The focus is on play and curiosity rather than perfection, so all experience levels are welcome.
You’ll go home with a unique black-and-white piece and a set of techniques you can adapt to your own drawing practice.
