In this hands-on workshop, Alana will show you how to create stunning wire-wrapped pendants using elegant wrapping and weaving techniques.

If you’ve already attended one of Alana’s wire wrapped cabochon workshops, you can build on those skills in this workshop as Alana will have basic, intermediate and advanced projects and skills to teach you during this session!

Throughout the day, you’ll learn:

• Wire fundamentals – understanding gauges, temper, and types of wire best suited for wrapping
• Cabochon selection and preparation – working with shapes, textures, and colours to design harmonious compositions
• Multiple wrapping techniques – securing stones with both structural and decorative wire settings
• Artistic embellishments – adding beads, coils, and flowing wire details

• Finishing touches – forming bails and tips for finishing your piece professionally (ie. no sharp edges).

You’ll complete one or more unique pieces by the end of this session depending on the complexity of your design and your skill level.

Stones/Cabochons and wire colour will be up to each individual student.
