Art Adventures | Primary Schoolers (5-10yrs) (Term 3, 2026)

Do your children love to create? Maybe they enjoy imaginative play or learning new things?
Do you want your children to create but hate cleaning up the mess?!?
Let us take your children on an art adventure!
We’ll explore several different mediums and allow participants to engage and create as they wish and at their own pace.

Creating and playing with art and sensory materials are wonderful for children’s fine motor skills, creativity and expression of self. Participating in classes such as these, can also help them to gain confidence in new surroundings and with new people, follow instructions as well as co-operate and communicate positively with their peers.
We focus primarily on technique, open-ended art activities and the journey of creating rather than finished products.

Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult but if they require their adult to stay, that is perfectly fine.
You will be required to sign your child in and out of each session and leave us a contact phone number for the session.

Tutor:
Dani from Whimsical Creatives
Dani is the Owner/Director of Creativity of Whimsical Creatives. She has a Diploma in Children’s Services and has 17 years experience working in the Early Childhood Industry. Dani also has a current Working With Children Check, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
She loves helping children explore their creativity at their own pace with no expectations or desired outcomes.

Age/Skill Level:
These sessions are for children aged approximately 5 – 10 years (this is very much a guideline, please get in touch if you’d like more info regarding an appropriate class for your child).
There is no skill level required. It is all about introducing children to art and letting them explore their creativity.

Cost:
$270 all inclusive (10 sessions in total)

If you would like to book a position for this class, you can do so online (preferred, so we all have a copy of the transaction) or call Dani on 0412 662 179. Once you have booked in, you will receive a manual ‘Confirmation of Booking’ email approximately a week before the workshop which will include a booking reminder plus all the information you need for this workshop (you may need to check your spam or promotions folder as sometimes they end up in there!).

Extra Information Regarding COVID/Illness:
We ask that you remember that we are a small business run by someone with chronic illnesses. Many of our visitors are also immune compromised. Please do not visit the studio if you are unwell. Thank you for your understanding.
