Today was the official start of our semester one workshop schedule and what a great start it was!Amanda from @buttonandbeanbespoke made her Whimsical teaching debut here at the studio this morning to a full workshop of enthusiastic students.Everyone had a great time and loved making their wet felted bowl. We are open this weekend, Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th January from 10.00am until 3.00pm both days.We’ve got lots of new things to keep the kids entertained these school holidays plus some new things for you bigger ‘kids’ too (think gemstones, markers, watercolours etc).Our first workshop for this semester (excluding kids seasons) is on tomorrow too marking the official start of our amazing semester of workshops. Tomorrow morning at 10.00am we are running our ‘Po

Tomorrow morning at 10.00am we are running our ‘Portrait of a Plushie’ school holiday workshop and we’ve still got spaces left!In this ‘Creative Kids’ session, students will create their very own ‘plushie portrait’!
Your child may bring their own plushie or squishy as inspiration, use one of ours or create their portrait using only their imagination.Students will firstly paint a canvas using quality acrylic paints. Students will then design and construct a 2D ‘plushie’ for this canvas using a variety of mediums such as cardboard, wadding, fabrics, felts and embellishments.Each will be an individual, unique creation that will be a reflection of your child’s imagination!We will be taking bookings up until the workshop so jump online and book your place now. School Holiday Workshops are Here!Are the kids climbing the walls? Do you need to get them out of the house? Or maybe you just need a break for an hour or two? Good news! We can help.
Our school holiday workshops start this week! And they are for all ages.Painting, polymer clay, foam clay, jewellery making plus more with sessions starting at just $25 all inclusive.
Adults are also welcome to come and create with their kids if they’d like to.All sessions are run by Dani who has previously worked in the Early Childhood industry for 16 years and holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education as well as a current Working with Children Check. She has First Aid certification as well as training in anaphylaxis and asthma management. She also has experience in working with kids with additional needs.All details are available on the website and sessions can be booked online (preferred) or by emailing or calling.

These little guys are trying to figure out why they’ve been woken up for their photoshoot, hence the confused looks on their faces!Do your children love to create? Maybe they enjoy imaginative play or learning new things?
In our upcoming ‘Creative Kids’ foam clay session, students will be introduced to our resident Clay Critters. They will have several techniques demonstrated to them and can then choose what they wish to create. Snails, butterflies, caterpillars, mythical bugs….the choice will be theirs!Not your kids thing? We’ve got several other projects on offer during these school holidays.
We’ve got sessions/projects available for kids from 3 years old up to tweens and teens.
